“What’s happening?!” Kon Bokun shouted.
“She’s dying!” Yelled another creature.
“But I gave her a Pearl!,” Gum whined.
“You did it wrong!” Bokun snapped. “Hurry, give her another one!”
Gum let go of Kiddo’s legs and fumbled at her waist for a small pouch containing the little iridescent balls that make breathing underwater possible.
Kiddo carefully peeked between her lashes and saw that this may be her only chance. She kicked as hard as she could with both legs, right into Gum’s chest causing loose pearls to float from the bag. Her momentum slammed the back of her head into the face of Kon Bokun.

I had a LOT of fun drawing this page. I think this may be my favorite so far. Action and sound effects are cool to make.
