Gertrude’s eyes rolled up and she passed out.
“Nonono,” Ray gently laid Gert down on the cool grass. He ran up to the veranda and grabbed a cushion from one of the deck chairs. Placing this under her feet, he reached for his phone and dialed 911.
Waiting for them to pick up he turned in circles, pulling on his hair in anxiety.
“Kiddo!” he called. “Where are you?”
His words loud in the quiet yard.

Kiddo is missing, Greatgramma is down for the count. Ray is trying to stay calm and steady, but he is definitely starting to lose it. Coco, like any good dog would, is staying close to her person and offering her support. I think my dog would be gently scratching my face to pieces with her long pokey nails, trying to get me to wake up and play with her. Cause she's so fun like that. =)x
