“No I didn’t! Give her a Pearl, she’ll be fine.”
“If you’ve killed her you’ll never get the Brumesay”
“I didn’t! Give. Her. A. PEARL!”
Frantic green hands grabbed at Kiddo’s head, pried open her mouth and shoved a small iridescent ball into it.
Holding her mouth shut, the creature shrieked when she saw Kiddo's fingers twitch, “No! Her HANDS! Hurry! Tie her! Tie her!
