“Lisa is fully dedicated and engrossed with the act of storytelling and image making.  Her persistence is inspiring, as she is consistently finding time to engage and grow in her work while also maintaining a rich family life. I have never seen her start a project that she has not finished, with flourish and devotion. Lisa is a “forever-student” and often reaches out to classes and peer critique in order to assess her work and move forward in craft, design and story. Not only is she engaged with her own growth, but she is also a leader in her community – starting and fostering group conversations, critiques, lesson planning and support for fellow artists. She is a light in the community, and offers honest feedback with kindness, humor and encouragement.”
